From Singapore to Pampanga
Our Story
After spending more than a decade in Singapore, we came home to the Philippines with more than just memories. We brought with us a deep appreciation for food, coffee, culture, and the experiences that happen around the table.
Our years in Singapore shaped our journey in hospitality. We worked across different food and beverage establishments, from bustling hawker centres to cafés and restaurants, where we learned that food is more than just a meal; it is comfort, connection, and a way of bringing people together.
Our love for Asian food grew alongside our passion for specialty coffee. Through years of working as baristas and in specialty coffee, we developed a deeper understanding of coffee, from the bean and brewing process to the simple pleasure of enjoying a well-made cup.
These experiences eventually brought us to a simple idea: what if we could bring the flavours and experiences we loved back home?
And so, Kawali was born.
